My solution to surviving the HSC

OK, so this is my new solution to surviving the next two terms and hopefully I won’t waste so much time and perhaps do something constructive instead. 😀

However I’ll still have my Facebook app on my phone which this won’t block, I gotta keep up with Facebook! Just not while doing my homework, I’ll just Facebook on my boring bus trip instead, time management at it’s best

  1. I must say, considering its a router, your router has a lovely interface, i just a mac airport extreme, best router ever, but i control it from a program on my mac. lol

  2. Yes, I’ve seen the Airport Extreme program, my friend is Mac obsessed and I was setting up his wireless network. I didn’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on an Airport extreme when I could get this one for $75 that is a) printer server b) FTP server c) able to download without a PC on d) has DynDNS abilities…

    I thought I got me a good deal 🙂

  3. So did these ‘precautions’ actually benefit you? Did you end up eliminating FB out of your system? 😛

I was reading another blog and they used social media sites such as Facebook as motivation. So the: “if I finish studying these notes, i’ll go onto my computer….” etc etc.

I guess different things work for different people.

  4. I still disable Facebook around uni exam time every year. Depends on the person, like you said. Although I find that more and more, Facebook is being used for communicate for study and revision much more than it was back when I did the HSC (and the days of MSN)
