Roadtrip! Roadtrip! (8/52)

Man do I love roadtrips! Does it count as a roadtrip if you visit your hometown though? I guess there’s still driving and roadtrip music involved.

Day 1: Blue Mountains – Katoomba

Those crazy German tourists clearly didn’t read the signs very well, despite speaking quite good English

A visit to Katoomba just wouldn’t be complete without going to see the Three Sisters

On the drive back, we stopped over at this lookout across the Capertee Valley. Gulgong is a very classy establishment

Day 2: Mudgee

Chillin’ around Mudgee, dropped by High Valley Wine and Cheese Co for this amazingly delicious cheese platter with a selection of blue, brie and an amazing olive fetta

Day 3: Targona Zoo – Dubbo

Always thought that giraffes looked funny, and pretty cute as well

There’s just something about furry little animals that gives them that cute factor, like these here otters

It’s Timon!! And my favourite furry little guys at this zoo – meerkats!

Even the gift shop had these cute little animal toys

Day 4: Relaxing at home

Needed a day to just relax and unwind after nearly dying in the heat walking around the zoo all day – it’s what the country is all about anyway. Here’s a sunset from that day
